Aitch has made a vow to take on the jungle in the ‘ Manchester way’ as his I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here stint was confirmed.

On Monday (November 10), the rapper, whose real name is Harrison Armstrong, was spotted touching down in Australia before he was confirmed the ITV reality show’s 2025 line-up, ahead of the series’ return this Sunday (November 16) at 9pm.

Aitch, 25, had admitted that he is doing the show for his sister, Gracie, who has Down’s Syndrome.” He said: “On an Aitch level, I feel like I have got this calling to raise awareness for Down syndrome and I feel that’s the perfect place.

“Also, you don’t always want to be stuck in the same world forever. You can branch out and do other things. You don’t have to stick to the code (rap world), because you think that’s cool. I did have to cancel some gigs for it. But you are never going to branch out if you do the same thing all the time.”

The Moston-born star also mentioned his sibling when he landed in Australia, commenting: “I love it over here. I don’t mind snakes… snake on toast? It’s all right that, isn’t it? I’m gonna miss my sister – even though she’s a little s***.”

But as he gave up his phone for an up to three week stint in camp in the Australian jungle, Aitch had a parting message for his loyal following.

He added: “Mam this one’s for you. Bout to go f*ck up the jungle the Manchester way Cinnabit. Account will be ran by management until I’m back #imaceleb @itv.”

And he was quickly flooded with support. Fellow Mancunion Gemma Atkinson commented a string of clapping emojis under the post, while singer Olly Murs replied: “yesss Aitchhhhh.” Artist Halima Speight said: “Go show everyone that us northerners are afraid of nothing! Can’t wait to watch lol.”
