Rick Astley will be headlining at the Llangollen Pavilion
Rick Astley is set to headline a show in North Wales next summer. The ‘Never Gonna Give You Up’ singer will be the main act at TK Maxx presents Live at Llangollen Pavilion on Wednesday, June 24, where he’ll be joined by special guests, Lottery Winners.
Pre-sale tickets will be available now for Friends of the Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod via llangollen.net, with general sale tickets going live at 10am on Friday at Ticketmaster.
Astley shot to fame in 1987 with his hit single ‘Never Gonna Give You Up’, followed by chart-toppers like ‘Together Forever’ and ‘Whenever You Need Somebody’.
After taking a break from the limelight, Astley made a memorable return to Llangollen in 2011 when he performed during the opening of that year’s Eisteddfod. He marked his 50th birthday in 2016 with a triumphant return to the top of the charts with his hit album ’50’.
The singer, songwriter and producer has maintained his success, collaborating with bands such as Foo Fighters and Blossoms, performing at Glastonbury, and achieving a number two chart position for his 2023 album ‘Are We There Yet?
Joining him in Llangollen will be indie pop band Lottery Winners. Earlier this year, the band achieved their second Number 1 album with the release of their fourth studio album ‘KOKO’.
The momentum has continued into 2025, with the band not only delivering some of their largest headline performances to date, but also spending the summer months supporting Robbie Williams across his UK and European stadium tour.
Rick Astley joins an impressive line-up alongside Deacon Blue, Alex James’ Britpop Classical, Tom Grennan, Billy Ocean, Pete Tong’s Ibiza Classics and David Gray amongst the headliners confirmed so far for TK Maxx presents Live at Llangollen Pavilion 2026, presented through the continuing partnership with the Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod and Live Nation promoters Cuffe and Taylor.
