Manchester United youngster Harry Amass has been the highlight of the loan watch all season, and now he could be joined by teammates.

This season saw 18-year-old left wing-back Harry Amass sent out on loan by Manchester United to Sheffield Wednesday, where the England U19 starlet has been highly impressive.

Amass has been consistently top class for Wednesday, despite their struggles on and off the pitch, beginning to develop in ways he never had before.

Last weekend, Amass scored his first senior goal, which demonstrated his growing attacking quality, along with his improved physicality.

As a result, Wednesday wants to keep Amass for the entire season, which would require an extension to his January loan.

United have been thrilled with Wednesday’s treatment of Amass, and likewise, the Championship side have been very happy with the wing-back. So much so that we exclusively revealed that further loans were being considered, and now names are emerging.

How would you rate Manchester United’s season after 11 Premier League games?

United in Focus now understands that Sheffield Wednesday are looking for a striker, with the second-worst goals record in the league at 12 in 15.

United and Wednesday are both delighted with how Amass’ loan has gone, and both would be open to further deals between the two clubs.

As a result, United in Focus can reveal that Gabriele Biancheri is one young talent who is on Wednesday’s target list, with the Welsh U21 international in need of senior football, having surpassed the challenges of Premier League 2.

Another is his U21 teammate Victor Musa, who United in Focus hear is set for a loan in January, with Wednesday a possibility.

There is interest in both, and the move would be a massive benefit to either of the young strikers.

Biancheri is having another stellar season for United, and he is now ready for first-team football either at Old Trafford or temporarily elsewhere, and Amass has proven that Hillsborough Stadium is an excellent place to develop further.

If either of the forwards moves to Wednesday, they will have Amass for company, as United in Focus understands that the loan is likely to be extended.

January loan could be the making of Gabriele Biancheri at Manchester United

On the surface of things, Sheffield Wednesday looks like a mess right now. Bottom of the Championship, administration, and points deductions.

However, this is what makes it an excellent loan destination for the most talented young players at the academy looking to take their first steps in senior football, as diamonds are usually formed under the most pressure.

Amass has proven this, developing mentally, physically, and when he returns to Carrington in July, he will be a completely different player from the one who departed.

Biancheri could benefit similarly to Amass, and if he shines in this environment, at a proper club with proper fans, then the sky really is the limit.

This would be a great move for all parties involved.
