Greater Manchester Police have released the following statement: “We were called to reports of a stabbing on Woodlands Road, Cheetham Hill, at around 4:10pm this afternoon (11/11/25).
“Emergency services attended and a teenager was taken to hospital for treatment with potentially life-threatening injuries.
“The scene has been secured and cordoned off.
“We have put a Section 60 in place until 10am Wednesday 12 November, giving officers extra powers to stop and search individuals in the area.
