Edinburgh police launch search for man as they investigate capital 'incident'

Edinburgh officers are searching for a man to assist with a probe.

Police have released an image of a man who they believe can help them in providing information on an incident which took place on Friday May 16 on Comely Bank.

The male is described as being around six ft tall and of slim build with grey hair and grey facial hair.

An appeal has been made to members of the public to assist officers in their search.

Constable Michael Ross said: “We would ask the man in the image, or anyone that recognises him to contact officers by calling Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 1319 of May 19 2025.
