Atomic Kitten star Liz McClarnon has shared the first pictures of her miracle baby after his early arrival gave her ‘quite a shock’.

It was back in May that the singer first share her and her husband Peter Cho’s pregnancy news, emotionally revealing their joy following years of fertility issues and IVF.

At the time, Liz was captured in a video sitting on a bench from behind before she got up and showed off her huge baby bump while wearing dungarees.

“I’ve been keeping a secret from you…” she told her followers. “And I’ve mostly kept myself off social media because sometimes it was hard to smile… But after years of sometimes quite painful IVF and quite dark times.

“But after years of sometimes quite painful IVF and quite dark times, I’m pregnant! I’m pregnant!” she wrote over the clip. Liz added while rubbing her bump. “We feel like we’ve been given the world!”

Then, taking to her Instagram Story on November 2, Liz shared a picture of herself giving the thumbs up to the camera from her hospital bed, letting her followers know that she’d given birth.

Alongside the post, the 44-year-old shared: “Little man arrived early. It started out a bit scary but all went well in the end.”

It wasn’t until Thursday (November 13) that she offered more of an update, sharing adorable pictures of her and her little one, whose name is yet to be revealed, on Instagram.

Alongside the post, the new mum wrote: “Today was our little bun’s actual due date. (No, bun isn’t his name).

“I can’t believe he came so early, over 10 days ago. He gave me quite a shock at 4am when my waters broke. It all got a bit scary when his heart rate dropped but the amazing NHS Staff at our chosen hospital whipped into action. It was overwhelming but they blew us away with their professionalism and care. We are so grateful!”

Liz added: “P.S. I had to put the customary partner-with-baby-carrier-walking-out-of-hospital picture at the end – We’ve waited a long time for this.”
