A spa resort hotel in Cheshire has won big at the annual World Luxury Awards.

Carden Park, set within 1,000 acres of Cheshire countryside near Tarporley, is celebrating three awards at the 2025 World Luxury Awards, which are billed as the “the pinnacle of achievement in the global travel industry.”

The hotel has become known for its “world class” spa facilities, which include outdoor pools looking out across rollng fields.

The resort also has two championship golf course and has even got its own vineyard.

Bosses of Carden Park are now celebrating their latest wins, having been named Best Luxury Sustainable Spa in Europe as well as the Best Luxury Golf Resort Spa in Northern Europe.

And it also took a global award too – being named Best Luxury Romantic Destination Spa in the world.

A statmenet from the hotel said: “These accolades highlight Carden Park’s commitment to sustainability, wellness, and creating unforgettable experiences for couples, golf enthusiasts, and luxury travellers alike.

“With its award-winning spa, stunning natural surroundings, and exceptional service, Carden Park continues to set the benchmark for luxury hospitality in Europe and beyond.”

The resort offers 197 bedrooms, including four Carden Luxury Suites.

The multi award-winning spa is home to one of the largest spa gardens in the UK, a Leisure Club, award winning restaurants including The Vines which holds 3 AA Rosettes.

In 2021 there was further investment with the opening of the outdoor adventure ropes course named Vertigo at Carden.

The World Luxury Awards wins come after a clutch of recent successes.

In 2023, the spa was named Best spa in the Northwest at the Good Spa Guide Awards, while in 2024 it was named ‘Spa of the Year’ at the World Spa and Wellness Awards in as well as Spa Hotel of the Year at the AA Hospitality Awards 2024.

The resort is home to Cheshire’s largest commercial vineyard, and it recently opened its vineyard for public tours and tastings for the very first time.

Established in 1988 and lovingly revived in 2008, the vineyard’s 4,000 thriving vines now produce an acclaimed north of England sparkling wine.
