Bryan Mbeumo and Andre Onana will not be going to the World Cup after losing the game 1-0.
With the game heading to stoppage time, DR Congo scored a dramatic winner in stoppage time.
Former Newcastle defender Chancel Mbemba did the damage, volleying a cross from a corner low into the net past Onana in the Cameroon goal.

There were six more added minutes of stoppage time after DR Congo took the lead, but Cameroon could not find an equaliser.
Mbeumo, who played the entire game, was unable to do any damage at the other end, and his World Cup dream is over.
Rumoured United transfer target Carlos Baleba started for Cameroon, but his poor form continued. He was booked and substituted at half-time.
