Now, we’re in for a treat over the festive period as this winter, CUPP is bringing Moomin magic nationwide with the launch of the Moomin Winter Drinks Collection, Official Moomin Merch, Moomin Pancakes and more, available across all CUPP stores, including Manchester.
Following the huge success of the Bristol Moomin Boba House and the Pop-Up Moomin X CUPP Camden store, CUPP and Moomin Characters have teamed up once again to create a heart-warming menu inspired by the cosy charm of winter in Moominvalley.

For those out of the loop, the Moomins are central characters in a series of books and comic strips written by Finnish-Swedish writer and artist Tove Jansson, between 1945 and 1980. They are one of Finland‘s biggest exports and have a global fan base – you’ll probably recognise the sweet little illustrations, even if you didn’t know that’s what they were.

Moomin Characters Oy Ltd was founded in the 1950s by Tove Jansson (1914-2001) and her brother Lars Jansson to take care of the copyright of the Moomins. It is still run by family members.
What to expect from the CUPP x Moomin winter collaboration

Snufkin’s Black Forest Boba with Whipp

The Grokes Sticky Date Pudding with Cloudcake

Little My’s Cherry Pink Chai

And that’s not all – the Moomin Winter launch also introduces Moominmamma’s famous Pancake stacks, straight from Moominvalley itself:
- Stinky Strawberry Pancake Stack – Fluffy pancake stacks layered with strawberry jam, sprinkled with strawberry pieces
- Moominmamma’s Maple Pancake Stack – Moominmommas famous maple pancake stack – fluffy pancakes drizzles with maple syrup.
