Several services are being affected after a passenger took unwell on a train this evening.

ScotRail took to X earlier to announce that services via Partick will be subject to delay or alteration, and that low level services via Glasgow Central and Glasgow Queen Street are subject to cancellation.

An eyewitness told the Glasgow Times that hundreds of people are gathering inside Partick Station amid the ongoing incident.

They also revealed that ambulances were parked outside of the station and that buses could not pass due to the ambulances out front.

Pictures shared with the Glasgow Times show a large presence inside of the station as well as ambulances outside of the station.

The affected passenger is now in a safe place and train services have begun to resume.

However, ScotRail said that there are a low of crews and units out of position, meaning service alterations will continue for a significant period throughout the remainder of this evening.

Ticket acceptance in place with Glasgow Subway. Commuters must show their ticket to staff to travel.
