The Met Office long range forecast for Wales for Thursday November 20 to Saturday November 29 shows below average temperatures are expected for the UK.
A cold northerly flow will affect the whole of the country initially, with widespread overnight frosts, below average temperatures and frequent wintry showers.
This colder spell will be felt most in exposed northern, eastern and western coastal counties, but may also feed further inland in some places.
Towards the end of the week and beyond, a milder but more unsettled weather is on the way as Atlantic frontal systems track eastwards across or near the UK.
There will be a chance of more widespread spells of rain or showers at times, tiwards the end of November. There may be some occasional hill snow in the north, and the risk of some strong winds.
Temperatures will tend to vary day to day, but overall will likely be close to average as the month draws to a close.
So after the flooding and downpours and relatively mild weather for November so far, colder weather is on the way next week, followed with milder and more unsettled conditions on the way.
