Chris Eubank Jr. and Conor Benn will be meeting for their 12-round middleweight DAZN PPV rematch tonight at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, England. The two are settling their family rivalry.

Jack Catterall (32-2, 14 KOs) displayed a rare glimpse of power, stopping fringe contender Ekow Essuman (22-2, 8 KOs) in the 11th round in welterweight action. Catterall dropped Essuman, 36, twice in the fight, once in the fourth and again in the eleventh. Referee John Latham stopped the fight at 0:50 of round 11 after Catterall landed a combination that sent Essuman through the ropes and out of the ring. Sometimes called ‘The British Shakur,’ Catterall fought with more aggression tonight than normally and dominated the first half of the fight with his combinations and hard power shots. Essuman rallied at the midpoint and was starting to get to Catterall before falling apart in the 11th.

Adam Azim (14-0, 11 KOs) blasted out the hopelessly overmatched Kurt Scoby (18-2, 16 KOs) in the 12th round in a light welterweight bout. In another mismatch on tonight’s DAZN PPV card, the heavily hyped 23-year-old Azim built up a wide lead through 11 rounds, hitting Scoby with right hands at will. Scoby, 30, looked powerful, but he was too musclebound to get leverage on his shots. So, he wound up on the receiving end of everything Azim threw, making the fight sickeningly one-sided. In the 12th, Azim stunned Scoby with a left to the head, causing him to take a knee at 1:50. Referee Howard Foster quickly pulled the plug on the fight after Scoby got to his feet. The time of the stoppage was at 2:01 of round 12. It was another fight that was ill-suited for PPV. Azim looked decent tonight, but not only the level of the sharks at 140, like Gary Antuanne Russell, Subriel Matias, or even Dalton Smith. He’s missing that spark. Azim will be okay as long as his promoters keep him protected. But as soon as they put him in with the general population at light welterweight, the gig will be up.

Richard Riakporhe (19-1, 15 KOs) destroyed a badly overmatched journeyman-esque Tommy Welch (16-1, 9 KOs) by a second-round technical knockout in a 10-round heavyweight fight. After an uneventful round one, the 6’5″ Riakporhe dropped Welch three times in the second, blasting him to the canvas with right hands. Welch, 30, looked gone after the first knockdown when he got poleaxed by a perfectly placed right hand from the 35-year-old Riakporhe. Barely beating the count at nine, Welch looked like he was on skates from that point on. He was in bad shape, staggering with every shot that the uncoordinated Riakporhe was hitting him with. It was disturbing to watch the two of them. What on Earth were these two doing on a PPV card behind a paywall? After the third knockdown, referee Mark Bates mercifully pulled the plug on this unearthly fight. The time of the stoppage was at 2:48 of round 2.

Ishmael Davis (15-3, 6 KOs) kept his career alive, defeating Sam Gilley (18-2-1, 9 KOs) by a razor-close 12-round unanimous decision to capture the vacant British junior middleweight title. Davis, who has gone through a rough career patch lately, losing three out of his last five fights, did just enough to edge the rounds against the surprisingly tough Gilley. It wasn’t pretty to watch with the overmuscled, robotic-looking Davis loading up with every shot. He did just enough to get the victory by the scores:

Mikie Tallon (11-0, 2 KOs) scored a beautiful fifth-round knockout of Fezan Shahid (4-3-2) in a flyweight contest scheduled for six rounds on the free portion of the preliminary card. Tallon nailed Shahid with a peach of a right uppercut in the fifth, sending him down flat on his backside. Referee Mark Bates then halted the contest. The official time was at 3:06 of round five.
