A man has been rushed to hospital after a crash between a motorbike and a car outside an Asda in Merseyside. Emergency services were called to the scene of the crash on Ormskirk Road in Aintree today at around 6.05pm today, November 15.
Merseyside Police said officers were called following reports of a crash between a Honda car and a Sinnis motorbike. The man riding the motorcycle has been taken to hospital with a leg injury.
The force said the driver stopped at the scene.
Enquiries remain ongoing and the road has been reopened following a closure.
A Merseyside Police spokesperson told the ECHO: “We were called this evening, Saturday 15 November, to a road traffic collision involving a car and a motorbike.
“Officers were called to Ormskirk Road, Aintree, at around 6.05pm following reports of a collision between a Honda car and a Sinnis motorbike.
“The male motorcyclist has been taken to hospital with a leg injury. The driver of the car stopped at the scene.
“Enquiries into the collision are ongoing. The road has now reopened.”
