German carrier Condor is to introduce flights between Frankfurt and London Gatwick Airport in spring 2026.
The new flights, which will operate three times per day from April, will be the first time that Condor has served a London airport and marks a continuation of the airline’s strategy to increasingly target the corporate travel market.
Peter Gerber, CEO of Condor, said: “With London Gatwick, we are adding another exciting metropolis to our city network, offering business travellers and city tourists even more options. The launch of this route is another clear signal of our growth in the European market.”
Earlier this year, Condor launched services to nine European destinations, and announced in July that it would add three new European routes from its Frankfurt hub to Barcelona, Budapest and Venice on May 1, 2026.
Jonathan Pollard, Gatwick’s chief commercial officer, added: “This is a key link between London and one of Europe’s most influential financial hubs, and with Frankfurt’s excellent cultural offering, Condor’s three flights daily flights will provide excellent connectivity for business and leisure passengers.”
Condor is majority owned by UK-based investment group Attestor, which purchased its stake in the airline from the German government in 2021 after the collapse of Condor’s former parent company Thomas Cook Group two years earlier.
