Manchester United will offer tours of Carrington for the first time this summer, priced at £100.

Fans have the chance to purchase a four-hour experience, which begins with a tour of Old Trafford and concludes with a tour of Carrington following its £50million refurbishment.

United will provide coaches to ferry supporters between the stadium and the training ground.

During the Carrington tour, fans will get a glimpse of the swimming pool, cafeteria, recovery areas and press conference room, but photos will not be permitted.

The tours will cost £100 for adults, Over 65s and Under-16s. They are currently scheduled to take place across three days in June while the 2026 World Cup is ongoing in the United States.

The tours will be across 15-minute intervals – the first starts at 10am and last at 2:45pm.

United advertised the tours on their website, writing: “For the first time ever, Manchester United is opening the gates to Carrington and allowing fans the ultimate glimpse behind the curtain.

“Our leading-edge training ground was reopened in August following an extensive renovation process that made it one of the world’s best sporting facilities.

“Supporters can follow in the footsteps of our squads and learn how players prepare for matchdays by enjoying an exclusive guided tour of Carrington.

“These unmissable training-ground experiences are due to take place during the off season in June and July 2026, and places are understandably limited. Priced at £100, the package will begin with an all-access tour of Old Trafford, including the dressing rooms, tunnel, Museum and Megastore.

“Fans will then board a club coach to Carrington to see the inner sanctum of United’s day-to-day home. Supporters will visit the state-of-the-art dressing room, gym, swimming pools, recovery areas, press conference room, media studios and players’ lounge.

“As stated, places on our first-ever tours of Carrington are limited to please act quickly to avoid disappointment.”

When the Carrington refurbishment was unveiled in August, Sir Jim Ratcliffe said: “Everyone in the world knows the Manchester United brand, so with those two things the club has to compete at the highest level, that’s appropriate to the brand and the size and the history of the club.

“While a world-class facility won’t take us to that place alone, I think it is one of the key ingredients in the modern world. I think here now we have a world-class training facility.

“When we first arrived, two years ago, I came to Carrington and we had a nice presentation here. It’s an excellent facility and I’m sure it was in the year 2000 but 25 years later it wasn’t quite what it needed to be for the top four or five teams in Europe.

“It was pretty much the first big decision we made when we arrived, in the first quarter of 2024, to invest in this training facility. There were lots of naysayers around, who said you’re not going to do that within 12 months, it’s going to be a mess.

“But I’m quite pleased to say that it’s come in on budget, on time and we’ve managed to operate all the teams here in reduced facilities but we made it work in that 12-month period.”

United have been working within the constraints of Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR). The failure to qualify for European football has impacted revenue this season, and Carrington tours will raise cash.
