Music will be at the centre of Pepperbird, offering 1970s jazz alongside 1960s and 70s rock. Olympia was once famous for gigs, with Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd and The Who all performing there. The enormous upstairs events space, meanwhile, will be a more modern, double-height room, designed by Robert Angell. It will turn into a restaurant and bar on weekends, and will offer live music.
