Bethenny Frankel has made her long brown hair her signature throughout the years, rarely straying from the classic style except for subtle golden highlights and a short-lived bob back in 2019. However, the Real Housewives of New York City alum decided to embrace a beauty 180 while ringing in her 55th birthday on Saturday night—and Frankel looked unrecognizable while channeling one of the film industry’s most iconic characters.
The reality star looked like a dead ringer for Michelle Pfeiffer in Scarface, thanks to the shoulder-length blonde bob with rounded blunt bangs that Frankel debuted while stepping out in Miami on November 15. While celebrating her 55th birthday with a themed party at ZZ’s Club, Frankel ditched her dark hair for the eye-catching wig, which featured the same sleek style and rounded ends curved towards her face that Pfeiffer famously sported as Elvira Hancock.

Frankel kept the Scarface references going beyond her glam, as she shimmied into a plunging teal-colored silk slip dress that looked like a near-exact replica of Elvira’s most famous number from the 1983 film. Like Elvira’s gown, Frankel’s was also backless and featured a bold thigh-high slit in front that she showcased while posing on top of a convertible car and with celebrity hairstyle Chris Appleton (who channeled Al Pacino’s Tony Montana). Showing off an ‘80s-inspired beauty look with metallic smoky eyeshadow and berry lipstick, the Bravo star accessorized with dangling diamond earrings, statement diamond bracelets, and a gold watch.

Later on in the evening, Frankel showed off multiple, equally glamorous outfit changes inspired by the movie. Holding a cigarette in one hand, the SI Swimsuit star paired her head-turning blonde bob with a plunging black sequin-encrusted disco dress, as well as a plunging hot pink halterneck dress that featured a bold backless design. “Elvie had the best time last night,” she wrote on Instagram as she shared some of her favorite birthday looks from the evening’s revelry.
