Viewers can expect emotional and worrying scenes on Coronation Street next week for more than one resident.
Becky Swain continues to meddle with Lisa Swain and Carla Connor’s relationship, leading to a sad split decision. Prior to this, a sinister death threat sparks concern, and soon someone is brutally attacked.
It all kicks off next week, as spoilers reveal Becky continues to come between Lisa and Carla on purpose, still intent on getting her ex Lisa back. Becky tells her shocked daughter Betsy that she’s been sent a funeral wreath with a threatening note.
As Betsy panics, Becky heads to meet DI Costello who previously threatened to have her killed. But it seems Becky doesn’t think he’s to blame, instead telling her former boss that whoever sent the wreath means business and she intends to get to the bottom of it.
But soon Becky is up to no good as she takes pictures of a group of teenage girls, and one of them appears to be Costello’s daughter. Costello is shaken, and soon he takes a call from Becky.

So will Becky reveal what she’s up to and how will Costello react? With Kit Green listening in, will he find out the truth? The next day, Lisa is on her way to meet Carla for lunch when she finds Becky drunk.
Becky has set it up again, wanting to ruin Lisa and Carla’s plans. Lisa takes her back to her home to try and sober her up. Becky claims she’s hit the bottle to block out the fact she’s lost everything.
When Lisa tells her to take a shower, she returns downstairs wearing Lisa’s bathrobe – only for a stood-up Carla to enter her house in that moment. Carla is furious, and orders Becky to leave.
Lisa fails to back Carla up though, with it clear Becky has got inside her head as planned. The pair aren’t left on good terms, and soon a heartbroken Carla can’t take any more.

She decides to call time on her relationship, and soon tells Lisa it’s over between them. Lisa is stunned, but will the pair really split up? As for Costello, he vanishes only for it to be revealed he’s been brutally attacked.
Kit is clearly suspicious of Becky, and out of concern he informs Lisa that Becky could have been to blame after recent events. But is he right, and how will Lisa react?
Also next week on the ITV soap, Carl Webster cruelly continues to manipulate his sister Debbie Webster amid her dementia diagnosis. He meddles with an invoice for Tracy Barlow’s flower shop, so it looks as though Debbie has claimed a service has been paid, when it actually hasn’t been.
Tracy is furious and lashes out at Debbie who is left tearful and confused. When Debbie admits to Ronnie that her symptoms appear to be getting worse, he suggests she should give up work.

Later, Debbie panics when an email confirms she’s to speak at an event tomorrow – will she go ahead with it? Meanwhile, Carl’s fling and new romance with Abi Franklin, the wife of his brother Kevin Webster, continues to leave the latter heartbroken.
