Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has reportedly made a surprising demand of his former wife, Sarah Ferguson, while they spend their remaining days at Royal Lodge. The disgraced former Duke has agreed to leave his home of more than 20 years in Windsor, after he was officially stripped of his prince title by the King, due to his ongoing links to convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
Andrew’s move is thought to take place sometime in the New Year, and now, according to sources, he’s made one thing clear to his former wife, with whom he still lives at Royal Lodge. A source told Woman’s Day Magazine that Fergie is “so angry with Andrew that he’s demanded she be kept away from him, which is upsetting her even more.”
The source said that the former Duchess has been feeling very “lonely” in Windsor.
They explained: “She’s been isolating herself within the Lodge, begging staffers to stay longer because she’s so lonely.”
It comes as other reports previously claimed that Andrew and his ex-wife are barely doing anything together in their soon-to-be former home, spending their time apart and only meeting for meals.
A source had previously told The Sun: “Andrew and Sarah are leading separate lives — at different ends and on different wings.
“But they come together quite often for lunch and dinner, and this is where they talk about their futures. They have been heard having some pretty intense conversations about what is going on.
“Sarah, in particular, is panicking about what comes next and she is not in a good place.
“She fears being caught in the crosshairs and is worried about herself and her and Andrew’s daughters, Beatrice and Eugenie.”
Andrew will move to the King’s private Sandringham Estate in Norfolk sometime in the new year as he begins his internal exile.
