Need a good memory game for the Christmas dinner table? Try and name all nine of Santa’s reindeer without any help. It’s not as easy as it sounds, especially not after filling up on mince pies, prosecco and Turkey. In fact, if you ask me, hunting down all nine of Birmingham’s lovable reindeer sculptures is a lot easier!
After its popularity last year, Brum’s Christmas Reindeer Trail returns to raise money and awareness for Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity for Christmas 2025. You can find Rudolph, Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner and Blitzen all across Birmingham city centre, which you can find until Tuesday, January 6.

Four of the reindeer have been refreshed with new designs. There is even an ‘I Wish It Could Be Christmas Every Day’ theme, along with a reindeer decorated with Christmas trees, another featuring a snowman with twinkling lights and a cheeky-faced reindeer bursting from gift wrap.
Where can I find Brum’s Christmas Reindeer Trail?
Just steps from the Medicine Bakery cafe and Paddington Bear Bench, Rudolph—with his bright red nose, glistening from 5,000 sparkling beads—has returned to his favourite spot at Selfridges in the Bullring. Others can be found at New Street Station, in Burlington Arcade, near the Bull at Bullring and in Grand Central.

Similar to last year, the reindeer trail includes a hunt to solve the hidden word. A different letter can be found on each reindeer that spells out a new festive solution, taking you to the Mailbox, Frankfurt Christmas Market, Great Western Arcade and inside the world’s biggest Primark.
There are paper maps available from each reindeer and at selected hotels and stores around the city centre. Alternatively, you can view an online trail map that can be downloaded here.
