Hailed as “the funniest play in years” (Time Out New York) and “a work of deranged beauty” (New York Magazine), Oh, Mary! is a riotous blend of history, heartbreak, and unapologetic camp.
The darkly comic one-act reimagines the final weeks of Mary Todd Lincoln’s life, portraying her as a frustrated, booze-soaked dreamer trapped in the shadow of her husband’s looming legacy. The play transforms the First Lady’s despair and delusion into a gloriously absurd exploration of fame, desire, and unfulfilled ambition.
Oh, Mary! is playing at the Trafalgar Theatre from 3 December 2025 to 25 April 2026.
