Police officers swarmed the parking area of a McDonald’s in Bristol on Tuesday. A spokeperson for Avon and Somerset Police said officers were called to Station Road in Filton shortly before 1pm this afternoon following reports of an altercation outside the fast food restaurant. 

One person self-presented at hospital, with their injuries not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing, the force said. A large police presence has been pictured outside the McDonald’s outlet which has been cordoned off. One photo shows forensic investigators seemingly examining one of the restaurant’s windows.

A police spokesperson said: “Officers were called to Station Road, in Filton, just before 1pm today (Tuesday, November 18) following reports of an altercation outside the McDonalds Restaurant.

“One person has self-presented at hospital. Their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening or life changing. A scene is in place and officers are carrying out enquiries to identify the other individuals involved.

At least four police vehicles have been photographed at the scene.

Forensic investigators have been seen both inside and outside the restaurant, BristolLive reports.
