Zoe Slater (Michelle Ryan) believes she’s finally cracked the case on her stalking ordeal next week in EastEnders when the mystery tormentor behind the campaign of terror targeting her makes another move against her.
In recent weeks, Zoe has been the focus of a number of sinister goings on, clearly designed to sow fear among the family.
Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) remained convinced that Zoe has been staging all of the attacks, especially after she admitted to being behind the defacing of their family photographs, while mum Kat Moon (Jessie Wallace) has stood firmly behind her daughter, determined to find out who’s harassing her.
The torment began when a smashed, blood-smeared photo was found upstairs in the Vic, leading to the discovery of a mystery VHS tape.
Zoe was later attacked, presumably by the stalker, later becoming the focus of a deluge of vicious online reviews about the Vic, with the Slater-Moons later finding a threatening message daubed on the wall of the barrel store, finally convincing Alfie that this threat is very real.

The discovery of an earring gives Kat a lead to chase up on, though Zoe remains feeling vulnerable and paranoid.
Next week sees Kat focus on the earring as the potential key to the mystery, as the attacks on the Vic increase in voracity. Kat and Alfie’s mobiles are ringing constantly from a mystery number, while the Vic landline also starts to blow up with crank calls.
Though Zoe has a firm theory as to who’s behind it all, Kat and Alfie disagree, leading to a huge argument and Zoe heading to her ex, Anthony Trueman (Nicholas Bailey), who’s happy to offer a friendly ear and a shoulder to cry on.

Her solace is short lived, though, as upon her return to the Vic, she finds a Christmas card left for her, inscribed with a sinister message.
With no further clue as to who’s so hellbent on scaring her, Zoe’s thrown straight back into the cycle of paranoia and sheer terror, with the Slater-Moon’s equally as bereft.
Who’s behind the campaign? And scarier still…what will they do next?
