Peter Kay is making his highly anticipated return to Liverpool this week for two performances on his extensive, multi-year comedy tour. The comedian will take to the stage at the M&S Bank Arena for his ‘Better Late Than Never’ tour, which has been entertaining audiences nationwide since launching in Manchester in December 2022.

The Phoenix Nights star will perform at the M&S Bank Arena on Friday, November 21, and Saturday, November 22. The tour announcement triggered an extraordinary response from fans, with the initial 22 dates selling out rapidly.

Additional performances were continuously added to meet overwhelming demand, with shows throughout 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026.

Speaking about the tour launch, Peter said: “It’s good to get back to what I love doing best, stand-up comedy, and if there’s ever a time people need a laugh, it’s now.”

He later confessed to being “blown away” by the response from supporters.

In 2010, Peter secured the Guinness World Record for the biggest-selling comedy tour of all time, performing to more than 1.2 million people. Fans were thrilled when he revealed that tickets for his new tour would match the 2010 pricing, starting from £35.

A planned 100-date nationwide comeback tour in 2018 was cancelled just weeks after being announced due to “unforeseen family circumstances”.

Here’s everything you need to know if you’re attending the Liverpool shows this week.

What time will Peter Kay be on stage?

For the M&S Bank Arena concerts, doors are set to open from 6.30pm. Fans are urged to enter the arena as swiftly as possible, with the live show commencing at “8pm prompt”.

Please note that these times are merely a guide, and audiences should be aware that timings can always change – the best advice is to arrive as early as possible to locate your seat.
