Police have issued a fresh appeal for information after a man was attacked outside Birmingham New Street station.
The victim was sitting outside the railway hub when he was approached by a man and assaulted in the early hours of Saturday, December 16, 2023.
He managed to escape, but was chased down before a second assault ensued, police said.

As the victim lay injured on the ground, the man proceeded to rifle through his pockets to steal personal property.
West Midlands Police has now reissued two CCTV images of men they want to speak to in connection with the assault. They believe they may have information that could help.
The appeal read: “Do you recognise this man? Officers are today reissuing CCTV images in connection with an assault that took place outside Birmingham New Street railway station back in 2023.
“At around 3.20am on Saturday, December 16, 2023 the victim was sitting outside the station when he was approached by a man who assaulted him.
“The victim managed to escape but the man chased him down before assaulting him again. While the victim was lying injured on the ground the man went through his pockets and stole personal property from him.
“Officers would like to speak to the man in the images who they believe may have information that could help their investigation.
“Anyone who recognises him is asked to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference number 255 of 16 December 2023.
