easyJet is gearing up for a busy summer in 2026 with the announcement of 16 exciting new routes across Europe, the Mediterranean, and sub-Saharan Africa. This expansion builds on the airline’s commitment to enhancing connectivity from eight major UK airports. With bookings now open for all the newly introduced routes, easyJet passengers can look forward to even more choices for their next getaway.

One of the key highlights is the launch of easyJet’s third UK connection to Sal in Cape Verde, which will take off from Bristol on 1 May 2026. This service will run three times a week—on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays—strengthening easyJet’s presence in sub-Saharan Africa. It adds to the existing routes from London Gatwick and Manchester, furthering the airline’s ambition to make international travel from the UK even more accessible.

Bristol is also set to see new services to Italy and Spain. Starting 18 April 2026, easyJet will offer flights to Bari, Italy, with flights operating twice a week on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Then, from 2 May 2026, the airline will introduce flights to Seville, Spain, also with twice-weekly services. Both routes provide travelers with more options for exploring these vibrant European destinations.

From Birmingham, easyJet will launch new connections to Inverness and Nice. Beginning on 30 March 2026, passengers will be able to fly to Inverness, Scotland’s charming city known for its scenic beauty, with services operating on Mondays and Fridays. The Nice service, which kicks off on 1 May 2026, will give travelers more ways to experience the French Riviera, operating on the same days.

Manchester will be treated to two new routes: Montpellier in France and Preveza in Greece. Montpellier flights will begin on 30 March 2026, offering another French escape for easyJet travelers. The Preveza route, launching 24 June 2026, will provide summer sunseekers with a direct link to Greece, a destination famous for its picturesque coastline and ancient ruins.

Liverpool will also benefit from expanded service. Starting 31 March 2026, passengers can fly to Lisbon, the coastal capital of Portugal, with flights operating twice a week. From 2 August 2026, a new route to Paphos, Cyprus, will launch, further strengthening easyJet’s offerings for Mediterranean holidays.

easyJet’s newest base at London Southend will add a new route to Jersey, beginning on 30 March 2026. This service will improve access to the island, known for its charming beaches and historical landmarks. Additionally, London Stansted will see the introduction of flights to Paris Charles de Gaulle starting 5 March 2026, providing travelers with even more options for visiting the French capital.

Newcastle is another airport poised for growth, with easyJet launching a new Tenerife route starting 1 August 2026. This marks an important milestone for the airline as it plans to establish a new three-aircraft base at Newcastle in spring 2026. By next summer, the airline will operate a total of 20 routes from the airport, providing even more opportunities for travel.

Scotland is also seeing expanded options, with Glasgow receiving four new routes. These include Lisbon, which will begin on 29 March 2026, providing direct flights to Portugal’s bustling capital. Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt and Pisa in Italy will launch on 1 August 2026, offering travelers exciting escapes to these popular destinations. Malta will also be added to the roster, starting 4 August 2026, enhancing Glasgow’s international travel options. This announcement comes as easyJet celebrates its 30th anniversary at Glasgow Airport, having first flown to the city from London Luton in 1995.
