The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff (UAPB) proudly announces that Dr. Tamara P. Glover, Associate Professor of Social Work, has been crowned Mrs. USA International Global 2025–2026, marking a historic achievement for the institution. Dr. Glover is the first UAPB alumna and current faculty member to earn a national pageant title, marking a landmark accomplishment that brings meaningful recognition to the university.

Representing Arkansas at the USA World Pageant in New Orleans, Dr. Glover earned the national crown and received the distinguished Queen of Queens honor for achieving the highest overall score across all divisions. She will now serve as the national face of the USA World Pageant Organization throughout her reign.

A proud Pine Bluff native, Dr. Glover earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from UAPB, her Master of Social Work from Arkansas State University, and her Ph.D. in Social Work from Jackson State University. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, national speaker, and Co-owner of Fulfilled Life Counseling. Her platform, YES MA’AM: Empowering Mothers, Elevating Mental Health, reflects her commitment to supporting families and advancing maternal mental health awareness nationwide.

Dr. Glover’s journey is a testament to the transformative power of UAPB. As a student, she performed as a Golden Girl in UAPB’s Marching Musical Machine of the Mid-South (M4). Her dedication and talent in her undergraduate studies led her to be crowned the 79th Miss University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff.

In September 2026, Dr. Glover will represent the United States at the International Global Pageant in Malaysia, extending her service and visibility to an international audience.
