The British band will take to the stage at Leeds’ First Direct Bank Arena on November 20 as part of their ‘Tried, Tested and Trixies Tour’.
This comes after the announcement of their new studio album ‘Trixies’.
The tour is set to be the most ambitious of their 50+ year career.
The 16-date tour will see the band headline several arenas for the first time.
Joining Squeeze on the tour will be singer, songwriter, and activist Billy Bragg.
Tickets go on sale next Friday (November 28) at 9:30am.
Glenn Tilbrook, Squeeze’s co-founder, said: “The reaction to the 50th anniversary tour in 2024 was amazing.
“We have never sounded better and it feels really special to be looking forward to playing the biggest headline shows of our career.
“And having Billy Bragg on the same bill, what’s not to love!”
Chris Difford, another co-founder, said: “It’s going to be amazing to show off songs from our album Trixies and, of course, all the hits and some surprises.
“I’m also excited that Billy Bragg will be joining us for all the shows.”
Fans are invited to bring food donations to the shows to support the charity Trussell, which provides emergency food and support to people who cannot afford the essentials.
Collection points for food donations will be set up across the venue each night.
Additionally, £1 from the sale of every ticket will go to support grassroots music venues, artists, and promoters.
‘Trixies’, the band’s new album, is set to be released next March.
The album consists of stories set in a fictional nightclub, written by Difford and Tilbrook at the very start of their song writing partnership.
The ‘Tried, Tested and Trixies Tour’ starts in Glasgow on November 12 and ends in Brighton on December 5.
