Visitors to the event at the Fisherrow Centre on South Street can enjoy browsing around the stalls from noon until 4pm.

They will get the chance to discover original locally made work, including jewellery, stained and fused glass, and textile pieces.

Every item comes from an artist or maker who can be spoken to on the day.

Nancy Bryce, from Musselburgh Creates, said: “As organisers, we’re genuinely looking forward to welcoming people to this popular event.

“The first market showed just how much talent and enthusiasm there is in the town, and this one promises an even richer mix of makers and visitors.

“Come along, have a wander and discover some amazing work by our artists and creators.”

Musselburgh Creates is dedicated to promoting artists and art through a variety of events in Musselburgh. It seeks to “provide a platform” for artists to share their work while engaging with the local community.

The group currently has three annual events – a landscape art competition, open studios event and the makers market.
