A Christmas-loving Edinburgh local has wowed her neighbourhood by erecting a vibrant holiday display in her front garden.
The Portobello resident transformed the home into a colourful wonderland inspired by the spirit of the season, complete with a massive inflatable Santa Claus.
Located on Windsor Place, she invited the community to stop by to see the display which she said will benefit charity.
The yard is chock full of coloured lights, inflatable decorations, and candy cane strings. A stand-out feature of this year’s offerings is a 20-foot-tall Santa wearing his iconic red suit and holding a present.
Other decorations include an inflatable snow man, two Santas riding sleighs, reindeer, a mini Christmas tree, and festive green-and-red lights.
The local took to social media with a warm message, inviting residents to come view the display.
She said: “Hi everyone! Well, it’s this time of year. I love to put all my Christmas decorations out in the garden and this year is a special one, so I have a 20 ft Santa. He’s for charity so please if you want your kids taken a photo with him, could you spare some change? Just tap my door and I will let you in to get a photo.”
Locals shared their awe for the magnificent display, saying: “Absolutely awesome” and “Looks amazing!”
Another posted: “My mum stayed above you and loves all your deccys . Lovely your doing it for charity this year well done”.
