A missing 14-year-old schoolgirl from Birmingham has prompted an urgent police appeal.

West Midlands Police said that Sara has gone missing from the Shard End area of Birmingham.

Officers said they are becoming increasingly concerned for her welfare.

She was last seen wearing black pyjamas, a brown coat and brown slippers.

In a statement, police said: “Have you seen Sara?

“Sara has gone missing from the #ShardEnd area of #Birmingham and we’re becoming increasingly concerned for her welfare.

“The 14-year-old was last seen wearing black pyjamas, a brown coat and brown slippers.

“If you see Sara or have any information, please call 999 quoting PID: 454572.”
