Leeds United head coach Daniel Farke has addressed the club’s fans directly after the latest Premier League defeat against Aston Villa.
A Leeds United News poll showed the majority of fans think Daniel Farke should leave his position as head coach, with his side now firmly lodged in the bottom three.
Leeds’ defeat against Aston Villa was like Groundhog Day for the club’s supporters, who watched their side take an early lead through Lukas Nmecha before collapsing to a defeat for the second week in a row.
Now, Farke is staring down the barrel of three difficult games against Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool, as he looks to hang on to his role at Elland Road.
However, speaking after the game, Farke admitted that he understands the frustration of the Leeds fans after another costly defeat.

Speaking to Sky Sports immediately after full-time of the game, Farke addressed the Leeds fans directly as they voiced their frustration during and after the game.
According to Farke, he does not want the fans to change their passionate nature, and he understands that they will be emotional after a damaging defeat.

However, the Leeds boss asserted that his players and coaching staff have to remain rational, despite the anger from the fans.
Farke said: “After a loss, all our fans should be disappointed and heartbroken. So I don’t want our supporters to change in one way.
“If you are a Leeds United supporter, it’s more like the world has to fall apart if you lose a game, and this should be like this. But we can’t allow ourselves to judge a game too passionately or too emotionally.

Until the game against Villa, the Elland Road crowd had been largely behind Farke and his side, with their worst performances coming away from home.
However, the first signs of dissent began to surface against Villa, as sections of the crowd turned against their manager.
What Daniel Farke and the pundits said about his future as Leeds manager after Aston Villa loss:
Jamie Carragher: “The longer this run continues for Leeds, you would fear for the manager.”
Aidy White: “For me, replacing the manager, I’m not sure it’s definitely the right thing to do now, given the games we have coming up.
Daniel Farke: “Believe me, in terms of pressure, the first day you walk in the door as Leeds United manager, you have pressure.”
The majority of Leeds fans chanted for Farke to make a substitution as the momentum of the game shifted in the visitors’ direction.
At full-time, some Leeds fans sang, “You don’t know what you’re doing,” at the Leeds boss as he made his way around the ground.
With difficult home games to follow the away trip to face Manchester City, Farke could be in for a rough ride if he does not coax a significant improvement out of his Leeds players.
