Liam Gallagher delivered an emotional message to supporters as the Oasis reunion tour drew to a close in Brazil.

The group performed their final gig of the sold-out 41-date Oasis Live ’25 tour in São Paulo on Sunday. The tour, which kicked off in July, saw the rock legends take to stages throughout the UK and Ireland, alongside Japan, Australia, and North and South America, reports the Manchester Evening News.

Moments before the band wrapped up their closing performance with Champagne Supernova, Liam expressed gratitude to his brother Noel, their fellow musicians, the crew, the band’s management and promoters. He also delivered a message to supporters – promising them “we’ll see you again sometime”.

This followed speculation about European dates next year including possible performances at the Etihad in Manchester and Knebworth. Liam previously confessed Oasis need to “sit down and discuss” whether they will carry on beyond their Oasis Live ’25 tour.

In full, during his farewell address to the audience in São Paulo, the Manchester frontman said: “Right then, beautiful people. This is it.”

“I wanna thank a few people man so give us a minute. I obviously wanna thanks our kid, Bonehead, Andy, Gem, Joey, Cristian. I wanna thank the management, I wanna thank all the crew, I wanna thank the promoters, I wanna thank all the other.

“But most of all, I wanna thank f**** you lot man for putting this band back on the map. We love you.

“Thanks for all your attitudes. Take care of yourselves and we’ll see you again sometime. Champagne Supernova.”

Recently, when a fan asked if he had been “scolded” for promising that he would “see you next year”, Liam admitted to receiving “a few tuts and raised eyebrows”.

He then hinted that this could mean a return to touring with his band, rather than Oasis.

Liam told another fan: “You will see me next year and the year after and so on just not sure yet if it’ll be with Oasis we need to sit down and discuss these things if it was all up to me then you know we’d be touring till the day we die as it’s the best thing in the world but UNFORTUNATELY it’s not.”

Speculation has been rife about the possibility of the band continuing their successful run by returning to Knebworth House in Hertfordshire in 2026 to mark 30 years since their two record-breaking gigs there in 1996.

In September, Oasis fans were sent into a frenzy when the Etihad Stadium confirmed its availability for summer 2026.

The selection of the Manchester venue for the upcoming Take That Circus Live Tour in June 2026 also fuelled the Oasis rumour mill.

Liam recently confessed that the tour “saved my life” after a fan praised him for maintaining his health and living “like a monk” during the tour.

He responded: “Oasis saved my life, it’s about time I sorted my nappa out, I know how much this means to people so stopping drinking and smoking and snorting Gary baldies are sacrifices that needed to be made, thems the rules MCFC.”
