Good Morning Britain star Susanna Reid comforted a grieving mother as she choked back tears on Tuesday (November 25).
During today’s edition of the hit ITV programme, Susanna and her co-host Ed Balls updated viewers on the latest news from across the UK and around the world.
Laura Tobin was also in the studio to deliver regular weather updates, whilst Ranvir Singh handled the rest of the day’s news.
Later in the show, Susanna and Ed interviewed Jay Slater’s mum, Debbie Duncan, who has faced horrific online abuse since her son’s tragic death. The 19-year-old died after going missing in Tenerife last summer.
At the end of the emotional conversation, Susanna thanked Debbie for sharing her story. As the presenter reached her hand out to comfort Debbie, the grieving guest choked back tears in a heartfelt moment.
