Christmas markets abound in Birmingham, but you shouldn’t miss this one—as it takes over one of the city’s most iconic green spaces. Birmingham Artisan Markets returns this winter with one of the city’s most magical festive shopping events: the Christmas Artisan Market at the iconic Birmingham Botanical Gardens.
Taking place on December 6 and 7, the market will showcase independent creativity, local talent, festive food, and family-friendly fun. Across two days, explore two huge halls filled with independent makers, artists and designers from Birmingham and beyond, accompanied by live seasonal music throughout the event.

Expect beautifully crafted gifts, homewares, prints, jewellery, clothing, speciality foods, festive decorations, and unique finds you won’t discover in the high street crowds. The likes of Brum legends Punks & Chancers, Pip’s Hot Sauce and Spirit of Birmingham will be amongst the amazing finds.
You will also find hot street food from What The Cluck and wood-fired favourites from Smoke + Ash (as well as refreshments from the in-house bakery, Medicine). Meanwhile, Birmingham’s cult creative wizard Tat Vision will host hands-on children’s craft activities.
