Two new units in Mallorca bring the total number of BIG FISH stores in Spain to seven.
BIG FISH is strengthening its presence in the Spanish market with the opening of two new smart stores in Mallorca, bringing the total to seven units operating nationwide.
Both locations span 18 m² and positioned next a Autonetoil service station and Elefante Azul car wash center. All three brands are part of Grupo Moure, a Spanish holding company active in fueling, car wash services, and convenience retail.
Powered by Techtail technology and Huawei Cloud as a tech partner, the stores operate fully autonomously. Cameras, sensors, and artificial intelligence identify selected products and process payments automatically, eliminating the need for traditional checkout.
“These openings mark a strategic milestone in our roadmap. Our goal is to bring the BIG FISH experience to more users, blending innovation, functionality, and a design tailored for modern living,” says David Casanovas, CEO of BIG FISH.
The product range includes snacks, beverages, over-the-counter health items, electronics, home essentials, ready-to-eat meals, and other convenience products designed to fit today’s fast-paced lifestyle.
“The response to our first five stores has been outstanding, motivating us to continue expanding in Mallorca and across Spain. We aim to deliver practical, innovative shopping spaces that stay close to our customers,” adds the CEO.
BIG FISH expects to close 2025 with eight stores in operation and is actively exploring new sectors and locations beyond its traditional service station network.
