Lululemon announced that Celeste Burgoyne, president of the Americas and global guest innovation, is leaving the Vancouver-based athletic brand to join Vail Resorts as executive vice president and chief revenue officer. She will remain with the brand through December to support a smooth transition.

Burgoyne’s departure marks one of the most significant leadership exits from Lululemon in recent years. She joined Lululemon in 2006 as the brand’s first U.S. general manager, helping expand the company from fewer than 10 stores to more than 750 worldwide and over $10 billion in annual revenue.
During her tenure, she oversaw all channel and customer-facing aspects of the North American business—including e-commerce, CRM, marketing, store experience, and real estate—and was directly responsible for more than $7.5 billion in revenue. She also led global guest-experience innovation and recently launched the company’s membership program. Before Lululemon, she spent a decade at Abercrombie & Fitch during its major expansion phase.
“My time at Lululemon has been both inspiring and rewarding beyond belief,” said Burgoyne. “I am so proud of what we have accomplished as an organization since I joined in 2006 and know the team will take the company to even greater heights in the years to come. I look forward to continuing to support the brand as a lifelong fan.”
“We are grateful for Celeste’s leadership and significant contributions to lululemon’s business and culture over the past 19 years. She has been instrumental in growing our footprint in the Americas, creating high-quality guest experiences, and mentoring our teams across the organization,” added Calvin McDonald, chief executive officer, Lululemon. “I deeply appreciate her partnership and friendship, and we wish her all the best in the future.”
Alongside the leadership transition, Lululemon is consolidating regional leadership under a newly created role and has appointed André Maestrini as president and chief commercial officer, effective immediately. He will continue to report directly to McDonald.
Maestrini will now lead all of Lululemon’s regions, stores, and digital channels globally while overseeing its commercial strategy with a focus on market expansion, revenue generation, and best-practice integration across North America and international markets.
Maestrini joined the company in 2021 as executive vice president of international, overseeing operations across EMEA, APAC, and China Mainland. During his tenure, Lululemon’s international revenue more than quadrupled.
“André has demonstrated a proven ability to unlock opportunities, advance our global expansion, and deliver growth across multiple markets,” said McDonald.
“Leveraging operational discipline, deep guest insights, and extensive brand-building experience, André is the ideal person to lead our business across all markets, including North America, as we remain focused on delivering value for our guests, employees, and shareholders.”
