Police in the north-east of Scotland have found a body in the search for a 46-year-old man.
Kenneth Unsworth was reported missing from his Merseyside home on Sunday, with police believing he had travelled to Aberdeenshire.
A body has been found in the search for Kenneth Unsworth.
He had last been seen at his home in Huyton on Thursday, November 20.
Today (Wednesday, November 26), at around 12.20pm, a body was found near the A90 between Brechin and Laurencekirk.
Formal identification has yet to take place but the family of Kenneth Unsworth are aware.
The death is being treated as “unexplained” and police said that enquiries are ongoing “to establish the full circumstances”.
