Edinburgh Seafood Festival is back at the beginning of May – running from May 3 to May 5 (Monday) – at the St James Quarter.

The event, which celebrates the best of Scottish seafood and produce across the Quarter, features live cooking demonstrations, masterclasses and supper clubs.

The Seafood Stage has an interactive cooking demonstrations hosted by Phil MacHugh featuring Sandy Browning (Ka Pao), Jimmy Lee (Salt & Chilli Oriental), Betsy Anderson (Amazon Prime’s World Cook Champion 2024) and Teddy Lee (Maki & Ramen) and mixology masterclasses with Port of Leith Distillery, The Alchemist and The Botanist demonstrating how to create bar-quality cocktails.

The Oysterman also returns to host an Oyster giveaway and the pop-up market showcases a range of local artisans including Belhaven Smokehouse and Lind & Lime and The House of 0.0% Bar on Register Square will be serving free samples of alcohol-free drinks with Gordon’s, Tanqueray, Captain Morgan and Seedlip all taking part.

Finally, the Seafood Supper Clubs will again take place in Miele’s Experience Centre at the Quarte where  guests can join the Chef’s table for a dinner with Paul Wedgwood and Barry Fish.
