GIG PREVIEW | THE WOMBATS @ O2 ACADEMY EDINBURGH by Morgan Hermiston
If you’re at all into indie, then you’ve heard of The Wombats. Straight from a summer jam-packed with festival performances and huge support slots, the lively Liverpool lot are back in Scotland with two shows in Edinburgh and Aberdeen.
On 2nd December, The Wombats take on Edinburgh’s Corn Exchange, also known as the O2 Academy Edinburgh. The night after on 3rd December, they headline Aberdeen’s Music Hall. These more intimate settings give The Wombats the chance to give back to dedicated Scottish fans, and gives them a winter wonder to look forward to.
The group are joined by Birmingham band Overpass, who have made an impressive name for themselves in 2025 as well. Rising act Florentenes accompany Overpass as another support act. With a lineup packed with talent, this isn’t a night you’ll want to miss.
Check out The Wombats’ post below for more information. You can find remaining Edinburgh tickets here, with what’s left of Aberdeen tickets here.
