Ebanie Bridges has vowed she won’t stop showing off her ‘massive boobs’ as the fighter explained why she goes all out to get eyes on women’s boxing.

‘The Blonde Bomber’ once ruled the ring but lost her IBF female bantamweight title in her last fight in December 2023 against Miyo Yoshida. Now 39, Bridges has declared her intentions to return to the ring soon and has started training ahead of her comeback fight, after becoming a mum when she had a baby with British boxing legend Kell Brook.

Fans can’t wait for 39-year-old Bridges to make her return to action, and the Aussie has said she will continue to wear lingerie and flaunt her assets at weigh-ins, no matter what people think of her promotional tactics.

Bridges appeared on the ‘That Boxing Show’ podcast and gave a blunt verdict on women’s boxing, insisting the sport needs to separate itself from following the men to make a breakthrough.

She said: “I wear lingerie, I like lingerie, I’ve got massive t***, I’m gonna f****** show it off. I was a bodybuilder for 10 years. I used to stand on stage in a tiny little G-string, flexing, posing and being all cute.

“People don’t wanna see, watch girls that look like boys, box. I’m sorry, they don’t. It’s gonna be very hard to get eyes on the sport by doing the same thing.

“So we need to change s*** up. And I thought, well I’m the girl for it. Because I’ll do whatever, I don’t give a f*** what people think

“If you like it, you like it, if you don’t, don’t watch me, f*** off, I don’t give s***.

Boxing fans, industry professionals and fellow fighters flooded the comments to show support for Bridges, with one writing: “Absolutely concur!!! Ebanie was my trainer and very young ! So smart and focused! I never met another who would motivate me as much! Love seeing Ebanie’s journey!”

A second said: “If you look up “Standing on Business” … you’ll see Ebanie Bridges’ name. FACTS ON FACTS.” A third added: “Does an incredible amount for other female boxers. She has really helped some of our female boxers and doesn’t get enough credit for it.”

Bridges also railed against the suggestion that women cannot succeed in high positions such as within the business world without sleeping their way to the top and said that just because a woman is attractive, it doesn’t mean she hasn’t achieved her success by merit.

She said: “So if you’re an attractive, feminine woman and you’re successful in business – then you f***** your way to the top. You know what I mean? ‘There’s no way she’s done that on herself’. ‘Way too f****** pretty to get there without f******’.

“You know what I mean? B*******. Society is changing and you’ve got to see it.”

Bridges spoke about her return to the ring with Boxing King Media, revealing she has a fight date and is only waiting on the official announcement: “I’ve got a fight date, I’m waiting for them to announce it, so I can be like, Hey, guys, found a flight… I back, you know?

“I’ve been waiting a long time. I wanted to get back in the ring straight after my last fight. Literally wanted to get back straight and I wanted to try and get my world title back.

“I wanted to get straight back in. But it didn’t happen, I was messed about for a bit, and then I got pregnant. So everything happens for a reason, but, yeah, I’m very excited, and hopefully, any day now it’s gonna get announced!

“Then my plan is to just get back in the ring, have a comeback fight. Not a comeback, like a massive bang. It’s a comeback. I’ve been out for years. I just had a baby.

“I just want to get the rust, the dust, everything off of me. I want to get out there, shake it all off. You know, I feel like I can’t remember what it feels like to walk out to a fight.

“I can’t remember what it feels like to be fit, to cut weight. Like, honestly, it feels that long for me. So I really just want to get out there, have a shake about, and then I want to back it up straight away.

“I’ve been left on ice, waiting, waiting, waiting, one fight a year, two fights a year and I’m just sick of that.

“I’m really hoping Jake Paul and MVP can give me regular fights, because I want to fight. I love fighting.”

Her man Brook is also making a return to the ring – he’s scheduled for a comeback fight in honour of the late, great Ricky Hatton.

The Hitman was set to face Eisa Al Dah on December 2, but the event, ‘Destiny In The Desert’, was cancelled following his tragic death in September. The event has been rescheduled for February 13, with Brook stepping in to face Al Dah in his first fight in four years.

The evening will be a celebration of Hatton’s life and career, with tributes and support for The Ricky Hatton Foundation, which was established after his death to help those struggling with mental health issues.
