Diageo’s Talisker scotch whisky business is to front its owner’s support of an environmental initiative focused on marine restoration in Scotland.

The Isle of Skye-based distillery and single malt brand has committed GBP600,000 (US$794,000) over three years to support Seawilding, a community-led charity working to restore coastal habitats. The collaboration will centre on projects in Loch Harport on Skye and Loch Craignish, where efforts are already underway to rebuild native oyster and seagrass populations.
