British singer Jessie J is following in the footsteps of the Princess of Wales, is set to read a CBeebies Bedtime Story about “resilience and hope.”
The 37-year-old mother of one will read My Path, written and illustrated by Jana Curll, on Friday night, which tells the story of a snail navigating life’s twists and turns.

The Price Tag singer, whose real name is Jessica Cornish, said: “Every day, we follow our very own special path, and it can take us in many directions. My path has led me here to read you a CBeebies Bedtime Story.
“Like the little snail in the story, we might experience bumps along the way and some big mountains to climb, but I say to myself, ‘keep going, Jess, ‘ and I hope that’s what little ones and grown-ups take from My Path too.”
It comes after she shared a hug with the Princess of Wales at Wednesday night’s royal variety performance, having undergone breast cancer surgery in June, before revealing in August that she had to have another operation before the end of the year, leading to her postponing her tour.
