I love the Soundpeats Pop Clip Bluetooth earphones for walking for one simple reason: they’re not noise-cancelling. Controversial, I know.
When I’m on a hike, I need to be aware of my surroundings. If I listen to music or take a call when out and about, I don’t want to miss a car coming at me, especially when my dog is with me.

Bala Bangles are perhaps the chicest wearable weights you can get on your wrists. They’ve dropped in price by 25% to $41.25 on Amazon—a level they reached in Amazon’s Prime Day sales in 2025. What’s different this time is more colorways are reduced, but that selection is beginning to narrow.

I’m not one to hate on expensive cardio machines—what you get is often worth the money you spend, but if you have other things to do with the thousands of dollars these cost, you can still get a lot of benefit out of more bare bones purchases. Case in point is this connected exercise bike, recommended by contributor Amber Nelson.
