A man has been robbed at knifepoint in south Belfast.
It happened in the Ireton Street area shortly after 6.30pm on Friday.
The victim was walking when he was approached by a man from behind who placed a knife against his torso and demanded that he hand over a necklace.
PSNI Detective Sergeant Long said the suspect is described as being approximately six feet in height, with short ginger hair, and was dressed in a dark coloured hoodie and beige trousers.
