Good Morning Britain star Richard Madeley has disclosed a nasty injury he sustained whilst on holiday overseas.
The 69-year-old famed presenter made his latest television appearance on Michael McIntyre’s BBC One gameshow, The Wheel, on Saturday (November 29).
He appeared alongside fellow celebrity specialists Rachel Riley, Ellie Simmonds, Richard Madeley, David Walliams, Adam Hills, Fatiha El-Ghorri, Vogue Williams and Spencer Matthews.
Paralympian Ellie naturally secured the role of Diving Expert, whilst comedian Adam was recruited as the ’80s music specialist; Rachel handled mathematics; Vogue and Spencer supervised the animals section, Fatiha covered herbs and spices; and David served as the James Bond authority.

When Richard was being presented as the episode’s weather specialist, audiences could spot a plaster cast on his left arm, reports Wales Online.
Drawing attention to the cast, host Michael remarked: “Dicky, I can’t help but notice that you’ve injured yourself.”
“I had a little break in France,” Richard disclosed, before explaining that he has a double fracture in his wrist.
The GMB presenter said: “Bang, a double fracture.”
Despite the injury, Richard remained in high spirits and even chuckled along as host Michael ribbed his attire.
“Now, why have chosen not to dress up for the television today? I think it’s clear to everyone that you’d forgotten you had to be here until the car arrived,” Michael quipped, with Richard simply going along with it.

Earlier this month, Richard had to step back from his GMB presenting role due to an undisclosed illness, with ITV News editor Paul Brand stepping into his shoes.
It was subsequently disclosed that he had been battling Covid and was on the mend. Speaking to co-host Susanna Reid, he revealed: “I had Covid, as you know, the active stage has gone now, and I’m okay again.”
The ITV celeb further noted: “But it does leave me washed out. I do feel I’m operating at 80% this morning, so I hope it doesn’t show.”
