Police are appealing for information after Wick’s public toilets were vandalised on multiple occasions over the past months.

The toilets on Whitechapel Road were reopened in the summer of 2024 after a £395K refurbishment — however despite constant CCTV coverage, the facility has still been the target of regular acts of vandalism.

Now Police Scotland has issued an appeal for information after facilities have been vandalised on a number of occasions.

The public toilets were first vandalised on Saturday, September 27 — overnight into Sunday, and then again on the night between Thursday, October 23 and Friday.

Vandalism continued on the evening of Friday, October 24 and once again between 6am on Saturday, November 22 4.50am on Sunday, 23 November.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting the incident number PS-20251123-0666.

Alternatively, information can be passed anonymously to Crimestoppers – 0800 555 111.
