Charlton’s U18s continued their impressive run of form as they beat Bristol City 1-0 at the Robins High Performance Centre on Saturday.

Raynon Richman was the difference maker for the young Addicks as they came away from Bristol with all three points.

The first half was an even contest, as neither team managed to break the deadlock before half-time.

The breakthrough goal came on 48 minutes through Richman after some excellent work in the Charlton midfield. Kacper Podgorny fed the ball through to Richman, who finished calmly to give Jason Pearce’s side the lead.

Charlton had a couple of chances to further extend their advantage, but it ended 1-0 to the young Addicks.

The team are next in action on Saturday as they take on QPR at Sparrows Lane (KO 11am GMT).
