The sentiment is echoed by JPMorgan Private Bank’s co-head of global investment strategy, Grace Peters, who says that the UK is an “overlooked” market that contains pockets of value.
Peters pointed to banks and mining stocks, citing strong capital ratios and the dividend return component they offer, which is interesting to clients looking for income.
“I wouldn’t say it’s our favourite market, but there are opportunities there,” Peters said in an interview on Bloomberg TV.
