Some said the Palestinian flag would never fly from City Hall. Well, it did, and the world didn’t cave in. It’s 13 years since another flags dispute beset Belfast, but the row over the Union Jack was long and bitter, with riots and protests across Northern Ireland which attracted large crowds.
Around 2,000 people gathered at City Hall on December 8, 2013, to make their voices heard.
